The oddsmakers are drunk plain and simple. Syracuse is a program in decline and is not worthy of being a road favorite unless they are playing some school from a smaller conference. Last season they went 4-8 SU, I don´t really see any reason why they won´t have another losing season and last year they were beaten at home by this same North Carolina team. Perhaps the oddsmakers want the public to bite on the revenge angle but I won´t. Aside from having the advantage of being at home, North Carolina also has the advantage of having played a game already. Syracuse is opening up their season with this game on the road with a new quarterback. All the ingredients for a disaster are tied up into this game for the Orangemen.

North Carolina will be agitated by their shut out loss at home by the Florida St. Seminoles last week. It´s always a good bet in college football to jump on a team that was shut out at home the week before. The Tarheels had not been shut out at home in the last decade and probably beyond that. They will want to show that their season can not be summed up by what folks saw last week. Take North Carolina in this contest.

I don't know Pete. I was looking for a reason to take UNC, but couldn't find it. Durant maybe?? I don't know. I do think Syracuse and that rushing attack gets the win here and like Pasqualoni (sp) in this spot. He's the better coach here and will have the Orangemen ready.

Hey LSUpete, how about putting all your plays in one thread like the rest of us. You're bumping everyone else's threads off the board.
